Players must register for their designated team based on where they reside.  If you are unsure of the boundaries, please click here to see the boundary maps.

If you already have a release, please email it to registration@calgarywildcatsfootball.com BEFORE registering.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

• ALL registrations must be done online.  Payment will be collected online at the time of registration. If you are a family without a credit card, please contact registration@calgarywildcatsfootball.com
• ALL Deposits are taken through the online registration system.  If equipment isn't returned, fundraising or volunteer requirements are not met, your credit card will be charged at the end of the season.
• Anyone wishing to buyout the volunteer or fundraising deposits can do so online with their registration.
• All players are required to have a player pack from Wildcats (short sleeved shirt, long sleeved shirt, shorts and equipment bag).  Players are welcome to use Wildcats kits/apparel from past years or purchase new.  Registered players will be sent a link to the online store to purchase what they need.

IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR KIDSPORT

• You must have applied for Kidsport BEFORE registering on our site. You will need your confirmation of application to upload in order to complete your
• If you have applied for Kidsport, please ensure that you have your application confirmation ready to upload in the document section of the registration.
• If you intend on applying and have yet to do so, PLEASE APPLY TO KIDSPORT FIRST before continuing on with your registration.Information that you will need from Wildcats to make your Kidsport application is: Cost of Program = $350 for Atom, $475 for PeeWee, $525 for Bantam

OUT OF AREA PLAYER REGISTRATION

Players at any level (Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget) will not be accepted from other areas unless a qualified representative of the player’s Resident club provides a Release Form and the Wildcats accept that release. This Release must be obtained BEFORE registering with the Wildcats. The task of requesting a Release is a parent/guardian responsibility, not a Wildcat responsibility. The Release provided may only qualify the player to participate with the Wildcats for the current playing level. For example, if a player receives a Release to play with the Wildcats at the Pee Wee level at age 11 years, that child can play two years with the Pee Wee Wildcats but may need to re-apply with the Resident club to play with the Wildcats at the Bantam level when they turn 13. Over the past couple of seasons there has been a movement to change this practice, but parents should be very careful to gain an understanding of the various League rules in this regard.

Typically, the player must register and practice with the resident club before consideration is given to providing a Release. Parents who are qualified to coach and are considering a coaching assignment with the Wildcats but are out-of-area residents, must also adhere to this Release Policy. The Wildcats may provide Releases on a case-by-case basis and are granted at the discretion of the Head Coach but Releases are not guaranteed.

REFUND POLICY

Atom Player Registration

• If Player quits before the League Registration date: Full refund minus $85 for the Football Alberta Insurance Fee and Wildcats Administrative Fee
• If Player quits after League Registration date:  No refund.

PeeWee, Bantam & Spring Player Registration:

• If Player quits before the Jamboree date: Full refund minus $85 for the Football Alberta Insurance Fee and Wildcats Administrative Fee
• If Player quits after the Jamboree date:  No refund.

Volunteer/Fundraising Buyouts:

• Refunds to Volunteer and Fundraising buyout will be given on a case by case basis depending on the date.
• If you are released from the Wildcats, full refund will apply.

The only exception to the above would be true financial hardship and would be approved by the treasurer and one other Board Member.
